B2B Sales Consultant (Welcom Software)
Harrogate based Welcom Software is looking to expand its Sales team with the appointment of a B2B eCommerce Sales Consultant.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record in sales of B2B eCommerce and/ or sophisticated ERP/supply chain solutions with a deal value of more than £100k.
You will spend time generating and qualifying leads in conjunction with marketing and visiting prospects to build a relationship and demonstrate our solutions. You will be experienced at presenting and negotiating at director level, particularly within the B2B sector.
You will be required to travel nationwide to meet your prospects and may be required to stay away overnight as required.
You will have good understanding of business processes across multiple sectors particularly in the distribution, manufacturing and service industries.
You will be capable of assembling and leading a bid team of technical, presales, directors etc and will have knowledge of sophisticated multi-contact sales methodologies.
You must be a self-starter who can both work on their own initiative and motivate others when required.
You will have a good broad understanding of IT solutions - ERP, Web, networks etc and be able to work with consultants and developers to design a solution to meet requirements.
Knowledge and understanding of web based solutions – eCommerce, portals, content management, web merchandising etc would be an advantage; alternatively, you must be prepared and capable of giving yourself knowledge of this sector.
The role will include achieving targets set against organising, presenting and winning complex negotiations.
