Telemarketing Executive
Role & Responsibilities
The Telemarketing Executive is responsible for generating qualified/qualifying leads by using the company database, purchased lists and various tools to research potential ‘suspects’, research, cold call, qualify and manage the initial relationship with potential prospects and where applicable manage some aspects of the initial sales contact process by detailed profiling the account against pre-defined sales criteria.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Qualify inbound leads and profile for sales from website, campaigns, events etc
- Research and profile potential suspects against a flexible profile
- Make outbound calls based on the above
- Send out fufilment items where required
- Build relationships with relevant suspects
- Maintain/own CRM system (SalesForce)
- Support marketing campaigns and events
- Input into the lead generation planning
Essential Skills
- Experience of Telemarketing/Telesales within IT (ideally ERP/e-commerce)
- IT literate – experience of using CRM systems (familiarity with various social
- networking tools - preferred but not mandatory), office applications eg email
- Experienced in relatively high levels of outbound calling (as opposed to inbound)
Qualifications
No particular formal qualifications required, but someone reasonably well educated, with a good command of the English Language, literate, articulate, personable, organized, self motivated/plenty of own initiative
