Judges for the Internet Technology award will be looking for the retailer that best demonstrates a technology implementation which has allowed it to develop its eCommerce business or trade more effectively using the internet – all evident criteria in the successful evolvement of www.newlook.co.uk.

Launched in December 2007, New Look’s first transactional website, designed and built by e-inbusiness, has been well received by customers and has exceeded original business plans. Not only has the site further strengthened New Looks multi-channel approach, but has become an integral part of the company.

From the outset e-inbusiness took an integrated approach to designing and developing the bespoke ecommerce solution in partnership with New Look. The site delivers a highly interactive customer experience through high levels of functionality and vibrant creative impact. The site provides an engaging and compelling shopping environment to support New Look’s significant growth plans. What’s more the site has become the hub of New Look’s business by providing a wealth of customer insight enabling them to trial new trends and price points.

Recognising those retailers and technology providers who have shown real dedication to innovation, creativity and customer-focus over the last year, the Retail Week Technology Awards will announce the winner at the prestigious awards ceremony at London Hilton on 16th June 2009.
